Welcome to the Turku Tournament!

Team leaders, coaches, players, and other supporters, welcome to our traditional spring junior ice hockey tournament in Turku.
The tournament will be played at the Turku ice rinks. Registration for the tournament is now open.

The registration period ends on January 31, 2026, and the participation fee is EUR 900.00. The late registration period is February 1-28, 2026, and the participation fee is EUR 950.00.

Tournament info

Number of teams

The tournament will accept a number of teams that allows for 8-team series. All teams will play 5 games, each lasting 2×15 minutes, with a maximum total playing time of 50 minutes. All age groups will follow the SJL competition rules specified for them.

Possible qualifying rounds

The tournament organizer has the right to hold qualifying rounds if the number of teams in the tournament becomes too large in relation to the circumstances. Qualifying rounds will be held among those teams that have registered and paid the registration fee by January 31, 2026. If qualifying rounds are held, teams will be accepted in the following order:

1. Foreign teams
2. Teams from the organizing club
3. Other Finnish teams, but no more than 1 team per club per level tournament
4. Order of registration

The selection decision is final.

Tournament rules

The tournament will follow the junior rules approved by the SJL. You can find more detailed information about the tournament rules on the rules page.
The organizer reserves the right to change the tournament schedule if necessary. Any changes will be communicated to the participating teams.

Registration

Registration must be completed via the www.gameresultsonline.com website by January 31, 2026, at which point the tournament fee is €900.00 per team. Registrations made after this date will be considered late registrations, in which case the participation fee will be €950.00 per team.

After registration, the registration fee will be sent to the team by email or e-invoice (€200.00) a few days after registration. Remember to provide your e-invoice details! The invoice must be paid by the due date for the registration to be accepted and the team to appear on Gameresultonline. The reference number must be used to ensure that the payment is allocated to the correct team!

The organizer will later send an invoice for the tournament fee (€700), which must be paid by the due date. The participation fee will be refunded if the team is not accepted into the tournament.

If a team cancels its participation or the tournament is canceled due to force majeure, the organizing committee will refund the tournament fee in full or in part. If the cancellation occurs after February 1, 2026, the fee will not be refunded.

The team’s email address is important, as communication will only take place via email.

Team accommodation

Teams are responsible for arranging their own accommodation. The organizer has negotiated team-friendly rates with the Scandic hotel chain. Please contact the hotel and make your reservations in good time. For more information about Scandic hotel accommodation packages.
