Welcome to the Turku Tournament!
Team leaders, coaches, players, and other supporters, welcome to our traditional spring junior ice hockey tournament in Turku.
The tournament will be played Ice Hockey arenas at the Turku region. Registration for the tournament is now open.
Registration for 2027 tournament will be opened in June.
Preliminary group divisions and game schedules will be announced in March 2027.
Tournament info
Registration
Registration takes place through the Gameresults Online service.
Register now and take advantage of the early-bird fee of €890 by 30 September 2026.
From the beginning of October, the tournament fee will increase to €980 per team.
Registration for the tournament closes on 31 January 2027.
After registration has closed, late registration may be possible if places are still available. In that case, the entry fee will be €1,050 per team.
The tournament registration fee is 350 euros. The registration fee will be invoiced to the team within two weeks of registration. The registration fee is included in the tournament fee, the rest of the tournament fee will be invoiced in January 2027.
The registration fee (€350) is non-refundable, even if the team later withdraws from the tournament.
We would appreciate it if you could provide your club’s e-invoicing address when registering, as we will primarily issue invoices electronically. Alternatively, the invoice can also be sent by email.
The invoice must be paid by the due date for the registration to be accepted and for the team to appear on the Gameresults Online service. Please remember to use the reference number to ensure the payment is allocated to the correct team.
The tournament fee will be refunded if the team is not accepted into the tournament.
Please ensure that your team’s email address is correct, as all tournament communication will be conducted exclusively by email.
Number of teams
The tournament will accept a number of teams that allows for 8-team series. All teams will play 5 games, each lasting 2×15 minutes, with a maximum total playing time of 50 minutes. All age groups will follow the SJL competition rules specified for them.
Possible qualifying rounds
The tournament organizer has the right to hold qualifying rounds if the number of teams in the tournament becomes too large in relation to the circumstances. Qualifying rounds will be held among those teams that have registered and paid the registration fee by January 31, 2027. If qualifying rounds are held, teams will be accepted in the following order:
1. Foreign teams
2. Teams from the organizing club
3. Other Finnish teams, but no more than 1 team per club per level tournament
4. Order of registration
The selection decision is final.
Tournament rules
The tournament will follow the junior rules approved by the SJL. You can find more detailed information about the tournament rules on the rules page.
The organizer reserves the right to change the tournament schedule if necessary. Any changes will be communicated to the participating teams.
Team accommodation
Teams are responsible for arranging their own accommodation. The organizer has negotiated team-friendly rates with the Scandic hotel chain. Please contact the hotel and make your reservations in good time.
